To the upper courses of the Tarym and Syrdarya
Trekking Tour: 11 days
Day 1 Bishkek-Pakrovka: After breakfast we take our car and set off for a small village of Pakrovka at the Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km). In the evening we take a russian sauna. Overnight in a local family.
Day 2 Pakrovka –Djuuku Pass (6 h): After breakfast we continue to follow the routes of the Great Silk Road. We reach Djuuku Pass. Overnight in a tent (2750 m).
Day 3 Djuuku Pass- Ak-Shiyrak via Syrty: We will trek over Djuuku Pass (3680 m) and continue our way on the routes of the Great Silk Road towards Syrty. In Ak-Shirak overnight in a tent.
Day 4 -8 Syrty- Ak-Shiyrak : 5 days of treking in the sourthern part of the Terskei Ala-Too mountain range. We will reach the foot of Ashuu-Tor Glacier (3600 m-4200 m). Overnight in a tent.
Day 9 Ashuu-Tor Gorge: We will hike up to the Ashuu-Tor Pass (4000 m) and we will see a wonderful scenery of the mountains and descent to the Ashuu-Tor valley (7 h). Overnight in a tent (3250 m).
Day 10 Ashuu Gorge – Chon Kyzyl - Suu Gorge: We descent to the Chon Kyzyl-Suu gorge, to geophysical station (7 h) (2650 m). Here we will have an opportunity to take a real Russian sauna. The evening we will spent in a house of a local aksakal (an old honorable man), who will tell us about the Issyk-Kul Lake and the story how he kidnapped his wife 50 years ago. Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 11 Transfer Chon Kyzyl-Suu Gorge - Bishkek: After breakfast we hike down to the thermal springs and then depart to Bishkek. In the afternoon a sightseeing tour of Bishkek. Visit of the squares, museums of the capital and its main bazaar where you can buy oriental dry fruit. Farewell dinner. Tranport to the airport.

NOTES:
Kyrgyz visa can be obtained in the permanent representation of Kyrgyzstan in Europe or at Manas International Airport in Bishkek (2 passport’s photos and 35$ per pax, passport with a validity of minimum 6 months.)
